After weeks of practice on our training ground Claremont Gardens all the team was ready for this event, we got some information on the venue from some local anglers who fish the venue regular; this helped in the team plan set out by the coaches. It was a very simple plan to fish pellet at 4m, down the edge and our most Favourite Method up in the water at 11m. With this method the team would work all four swims picking fish from all of them throughout the match. Kyle Jones fished A section and fished a great match he finished second over all and won his section, Scott Weaver one of our youngest anglers was out standing on the day, he fished B section and worked hard all though the match to win his section. Carl O’Brian fished C section and caught F1s in the last hour up in the water to win his section, John Gorman worked his swims  all match but struggled the last two hours but he caught well at the start he finished 5th in D section, Jack Burnett fished a hard section but pulled it back in the last hour he caught carp up in the water and come 4th in E section,

Tom Woodruff fished a good match he caught F1s up in the water and finished 2nd in F section, Joe Cartwright had a good first hour catching three good carp then fished up in the water the last hour and caught three more good carp to put him 4th in G section, Sean Williamsons had the hardest section and caught small barbel down the edge but could not catch any carp he finished 8th in G section.
