First

After a slow start for the lads the carp made up the big weights in just three hours a total weight of 151lb was out on the first winter league match. Our new member John Gorman made a big impact on his first match at the club, he will be one to watch next year with good support for the club he will soon be making a name for himself on the junior match circuit. He fished paste at 8m and caught carp to 2lb and weighed in 35lb 2oz.

Second

Kyle Jones is another outstanding angler in the club and moves up into the intermediate level next year, he fished up in the water at 13m and put 32lb 4oz on the scales.

Third

What a top performance for one of the most improved anglers of 2007, 13yr old Sam Marshal caught carp at 5m on pellet and weighed in 31lb 12oz.
