New Stocking in Celmac Pond

The members of the club have decided to stock the pond with carp and tench. it was sugessed that a netting servey should be carry out first, so we contact our local fish farmer to advise us on how to go about this. The servey shown us that the pond was heavlly stock with sunted roach that have breed in the pond, it was suggessed that they should be removed from the pond before any other fish could be introduced. a section 28 was obtain and the silver fish was removed. The club have funded the stocking of the new fish, it was agreed that 350 6-8in mirror /common carp and 100

6-8in Tench, we will looking at doing a other servey next year to see how the fish have grown it may be that we will need to remove the bigger fish to Clarmont once the fish get to 2lb and restock with small fish this is good managment for the health of our fish stocks.
