Claremont Gardens Angling School:

Claremont garden was open in spring of 2006 and as become one of the most popular waters within Tameside. This is a newly created pool set in the heart of Ashton-u-Lyne. The pool is a 3/4 acre and consists of 20 angling platforms catering for able & disabled anglers. The depth of the pool is 9ft deep which credibly slopes to the margin shelf. It has a lot of features to fish amongst and an abundance of irises and pompous grass which is a great holding spots for the fish all year round.  The pool is well stocked with mirror, commons, Bream and Tench giving the anglers excellent sport, there are on site toilets, car parking.

The 5 match record stands at 79lb and the three hour 62lb with good backup weight.

Pleasure catches well over 100lb.
